Value of Brass Jewellery

Jewellery in Lithuania spread at the beginning of the Bronze Age (1600 BC). Various jewelry were made from brass and silver (necklaces, bracelets, brooches, bead Temple Rings, rings, pins, pendants). It was also common to decorated weapons, military clothing or even horse horse's bridle.
The Baltic women wore a lot of brass jewelry. It was believed that this metal protects against bad energy and even have healing powers. Some say that even today every Lithuanian should wear a silver, brass or amber bracelets on right hand as it is believed this is effective protection against heart disease, bad thoughts. And of course it's also gorgeous!
